Nose si vieron o escucharon sobre el capitulo de South Park en el que se juntan las leyendas de YouTube (Star Wars Kid, Numa Numa, El bebe que no para de reir entre otros).
Todo parece ir bien hasta que empiezan a discutir quien es la leyenda mas grande de todas por las cantidad de visitas que tienen en la pagina y de repente todo se va a la mierda.

R.E.M. - Gira Sudamericana

La súper exitosa banda, R.E.M., conformada por Michael Stipe en la voz, Peter Buck en la guitarra y Mike Mills en el bajo, es considerada como pionera en el género alternativo y la que primero alcanzó el éxito masivo, también son conocidos por sus críticas políticas y sus posturas medioambientalista.

Sus inicios se remontan a los 80´s, cuando eran de la discográfica independiente Hib-Tone, luego de volverse un grupo masivo con el single “The One i Love” firmaron con Warner Bros.- Records y comenzó su despegue para volverse una de las bandas más populares de los 90´s. Hoy en día tienen catorce álbumes de estudio, incluyendo su última producción titulada “Accelerate”, que, como es usual, está cargada de letras que hablan sobre el estado actual de Estados Unidos.

Según informan en su web, esta es la segunda vez que tocan en Latinoamérica y las fechas anunciadas son:

1 de noviembre: Buenos Aires, Argentina, Club Ciudad BA
3 de noviembre: Santiago, Chile, Movistar Arena
4 de noviembre: Santiago, Chile, Movistar Arena

8 de noviembre: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Arena
10 de noviembre: Sao Paulo, Brazil, Via Funchai
11 de noviembre: Sao Paulo, Brazil, Via Funchai
14 de noviembre: Lima, Perú, Jockey Club del Perú
16 de noviembre: Caracas, Venezuela, Caracas Festival
18 de noviembre: Ciudad de México, Auditorio Nacional

Al parecer, vendria a la Argentina en marco del Personal Fest 08, con The Jesus and Mary Chain y Paramore ya confirmados.
